Itinerary
In the heart of the Alentejo, Arraiolos is a town of calm and color. Famous for its hand-embroidered rugs, this art was born from an unlikely blend of oriental influences and Alentejo soul. Each piece is unique, made stitch by stitch, with patience and passion - an ancient gesture that lives on in the hands of the artisans. High up, the circular castle guards the village and the plain, a symbol of protection and unity. Legend has it that the first carpet was born out of a dream - embroidered by a woman waiting for the one she loved. True or not, Arraiolos is still at its most beautiful: firm, delicate and full of soul.
There are towns that shine with the sun - and then there's Estremoz, which shines on its own. Made of white marble, it reflects the light of the Alentejo at every turn. The castle stands imposingly on top of the hill, guarding stories of kings and miracles. Queen Isabel lived here, and it is said that her perfume still mingles with the warm afternoon air. In the white streets, the sound of conversations mixes with that of the workshops where the famous clay dolls are born, declared Intangible Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO - colorful clay figures that tell small portraits of everyday life, full of color and humor. At night, when the moon appears, the marble takes on a glow of its own - and Estremoz is transformed into an almost magical setting. A place where tradition lives on and beauty reveals itself without haste - authentic, luminous and unforgettable.

Some experiences are savored slowly - and this is one of them. In the heart of the Alentejo, among vineyards that stretch to the horizon, the wine comes alive and tells stories with every sip. In the cellar, the air smells of wood and warm earth, and time seems to follow a different rhythm. The producers open their doors, share secrets and serve glasses that reflect the sun and the soul of the region. Intense reds, elegant whites and that touch that only the Alentejo knows how to give. More than a tasting, it's a toast to authenticity - a moment to feel, smile and remember.

In the heart of the Alentejo, Évora is a city that combines history, soul and a light that is impossible to forget. Its white, cobbled streets lead to lively squares, ancient churches and the shade of orange trees. In the center, the Roman Temple stands serene - said to be dedicated to the goddess Diana, protector of beauty and the moon. Nearby, the Chapel of Bones is a reminder of the city's more symbolic side: an invitation to reflection and humility. But Évora is anything but melancholy - it's art, gastronomy and a peaceful pace. At dusk, the marble takes on golden hues and the city breathes calm. Évora is a living piece of Portuguese history, but also a state of mind: authentic, bright and full of soul.
The trip ends when we return to the hotel, but there's a little piece of it left to take back with us - made up of memories and Portugal.
On this route, we have carefully included a surprise place chosen by us for this day.

Fantastic. Everything went very smoothly, the guides were really welcoming throughout the journey, and they were very knowledgeable about the places. I recommend it.
